First time Zipper!

Today I tried to make a little pouch with a zipper. It was my first time ever to sew a zipper into an item. I felt realy excited because this is like maths to me (and an english pattern is also hard)!!
It's not very need yet. The corners around the zipper are a bit to tight and the lining doesn't fit very nice. But for a first time, I couldn't image, it turned out this well. Definitely gonna make another effort sometime!


Vandaag heb ik een poging gedaan om een klein tasje met een ritssluiting te maken. Het was voor het eerst dat ik ergens een rits in heb gemaakt. Ik vond het aardig spannend want dit is net wiskunde voor me (en je patroon in het engels maakt het ook weer wat lastiger)!!
Het is nog niet super netjes geworden. De hoekjes waar de ritssluiting begint is te strak en de voering zit ook nog niet netjes genoeg. Maar voor een eerste keer, had ik niet kunnen dromen, dat het er nog zo uit zou komen! Zekers te weten dat ik, een andere keer, nog een poging ga doen!

So six random things about me..

1. I have a lot off energy! I'm aways talking, doing, hearing, feeling, running, thinking and again talking.. And everything goes fast!
2. Iff I have to much choises I can't choice! So bookstores, yarn or fabricstores are a hell for my wallet.
3. My biggest dream is to have a seperate house in a small village with my own workspace, a big garden to grow my own vegtables, a dog (and off course a stunning husband and children).
4. Besides being creative with needle, yarn and fabrics I alway loved to work with clay and did a lot of painting. Also I still love to write.
5. Yeah I know, I'm a smoker. And in the next couple of weeks it's going to rough in 'house liset' because I'm gonna quit!
6. Everything I buy is on sale. I never buy stuff for the normal price. I don't have clothes more expensive then 10 euro a piece and I'm always so happy to have found something for a good price! I have a list in my wallet with the names of books I wanna read and I buy those in secondhand shops when I find them.

Ik ben getagged! Hier wat 'typische lisette dingen'.

1. Ik heb een heleboel energie! Ik ben altijd aan het praten, doen, horen, voelen, rennen, denken en weer kletsen.. En alles gaat altijd snel.
2. Als ik teveel keuzes heb dan kan ik niet kiezen! Dus boekenwinkels, wol en stoffenwinkels zijn een hel voor mijn portemonnee.
3. Mijn grootste droom is om ooit een klein vrijstaand huisje te bezitten in een leuk dorpje waar ik mijn eigen werkruimte heb, een grote tuin waar ik mijn eigen groente heb, een hond (en natuurlijk een lekkere man en kinderen).
4. Naast creatief zijn met naald, draad en stof heb ik altijd met veel plezier en liefde geboetseerd en geschilderd. Ook hou ik er nog steeds van om te schrijven.
5. Ja, ik weet het.. Ik ben een roker. En in de volgende weken zal het niet zo gezellig zijn in 'huize liset' want ik ga stoppen!
6. Bijna alles wat ik koop komt uit de uitverkoop! Ik koop nooit dingen voor de normale prijs. Ik heb geen kleren die meer dan een tientje kosten en daar ben ik dan zo gelukkig mee! In mijn portemonnee heb ik een lijstje met de boeken die ik nog wil lezen en die koop ik dan tweedehands, als ik ze vind.

I'M GRADUATED!!!!!!!!

I did my assessment, my last step for graduation, yesterday and made it!!! I'm sooooooo happy!! I'm graduated!! Although I'm already working as a teacher, for the last 3 years, now I'm officialy licensed!

The assessment yesterday was not to hard although I was a bit nervous... I prepared myself very well, made a good presentation and the interview was easy. Because of the new structure of education we don't get anymore grades. I got a 'very good' which means that all my grades are 'good' and 'very good' so I'm gradution 'cum laude'. Don't you think that sounds nice!!??

When I look back at getting this degree, I realised I worked very hard for it and I'm so proud of myself to make it in two years. In short: I always worked 80 till 100% besides my study, we had a reorganisation which didn't went very well (I say this realy nice) and a new manager who didn't know how to function and made a mess (again, this is realy, realy nice said of me), I moved from Amsterdam to Leiden, I had a lot of medical research because I had lumps in my armpit (everything is oke!) and when this research was over (long story why and how) I got in research for adhd and in october last year I heard (on the age off 30) that I have adhd. And these are just some of the headlines... Can you imagine how proud I am!!??Well let me tell you, I AM!!!

Ik heb gister mijn assessment,de laatste stap voor mijn afstuderen, volbracht en gehaald!! Ik ben zo gigantisch blij!!! Want ook al werk ik al bijna 3 jaar als docent, nu ben ik dan officeel gediplomeerd.

Het assessment was niet heel erg moeilijk maar ik was wel een beetje gespannen.. Ik had mezelf wel goed voorbereid en de presentatie ging prima, het interview wat ik kreeg was makkelijk. Doordat de Hogeschool Utrecht ook al met het nieuwe onderwijs werkt, krijg je geen cijfers meer maar o/rv/v/g/zg. Ik heb voor mijn assessment een 'zeer goed' gehaald wat betekent dat ik alles heb afgerond met 'goed' en 'zeer goed' dus dan slaag ik 'cum laude. Hoe stoer is dat wel niet??!!

Als ik terugkijk op het behalen van dit diploma, dan realiseer ik me dat ik er echt heel hard voor heb gewerkt en heel erg trots kan zijn dat ik het in 2 jaar heb gehaald. In het (heel) kort: Ik heb altijd 80 tot 100% naast m'n studie gewerkt, we hadden een reorganisatie op mijn werk en dat ging allemaal niet zo goed (en dat zeg ik heel netjes), alsook een nieuwe manager die er een nog groter zooitje van maakte (en dat zeg ik pas echt heeeeel netjes), ik verhuisde van Amsterdam naar Leiden, tegelijk had ik allerlei onderzoeken naar die knobbels in mijn oksels wat uiteindelijk overging in een adhd onderzoek waarvan ik in oktober hoorde dat ik dit heb (ben je 30..).. En dan zijn dit alleen nog de grote lijnen... Kan je je voorstellen dat ik super trots ben!!?? Nou ik zal je zeggen.. dat ben ik, GIGA!!

New shop site!!

The most important but also most difficult part is done.. I rearranged this site and made a new site with just my shop items. For a while now I was irritated that my site became more chaotic. Now it's more basic, more organised and I realy like the shop on a new page! It's not all done yet but I'm so proud and happy with the result till now.. Hope you like it too! Tell me about it!

Het belangrijkste maar ook het meest moeilijke deel is klaar.. Ik heb deze site opnieuw ingedeeld en een nieuwe site gemaakt voor alleen de shop items. Al een tijdje irriteerde ik me eraan dat de site steeds chaotischer werd. Nu vind ik h'm meer basis, meer georganiseerd en ik vind de winkel op de nieuwe site echt heel erg mooi! Het is allemaal nog niet klaar maar ik heb zo trots en blij met het resultaat tot nu toe toe.. Ik hoop jij ook!

Slow changes..

Yes, my blog is different! I'm working hard to change my layout, my header and all kind of things. So the next few days, maybe weeks you'll slowly see changes. I'll tell you when I'm all done. Good night now..

African tint..

Probably I have to withdrawel of sewing, crocheting, writing, reading and just have lots of free time. Already I'm spending time to prepare my assessment for my teachers degree, this week, but I'm also getting started with preparing my lessons. What a pity that there's going to be less time to be creative...

Today I was up very early and sat behind my sewingmachine around eight.. Worked on another patchwork pillow made from 4 diffrent african, fabric panels. At first I was afraid it was going to be too printed but I think it might have been worse. It's a 50 x 50 cm cushion and it turned out great, I think.

Waarschijnlijk zal ik moeten afkicken van het naaien, haken, schrijven, lezen en het hebben van zoveel vrije tijd. Ik ben al begonnen om me voor te bereiden op mijn assessment, deze week, voor mijn lerarenbevoegdheid maar ik ben ook al bezig met het voorbereiden van mijn lessen. Hoe jammer om zoveel vrije tijd weer in te moeten leveren om lekker creatief bezig te zijn..

Vandaag was ik alweer erg vroeg op en om acht uur zat ik al achter de naaimachine.. Ik heb aan een ander patchwork kussen gewerkt, wat ik heb gemaakt van 4 verschillende, afrikaanse stoffen panelen. In het begin was ik bang dat het te druk zou worden maar het is gelukkig erg meegevallen. Het is een 50 x 50 cm, erg leuk kussen geworden, vind ik.

Sewing-itch turned into a patchwork pillow.

The last time I sewed was before my holiday, so yesterday I got my sewing-itch and started to work on a new patchwork pillow. I used the fabric I bought a few weeks ago in a quilt store. I have to say that it was real expensive fabric but then again very nice to use and work with.
I did some needlework on it by surrounding some squares with lines and in one corner I made some free forms needlework.



De laatste keer dat ik achter de naaimachine heb gezeten was voor mijn vakantie. Gister kreeg ik weer een naai-kriebel dus ik heb aan een patchwork kussen gewerkt. Ik heb de stof gebruikt die ik een paar weken terug heb gekocht in een quilt winkel. Ik moet zeggen dat het dure stoffen waren maar dat je er wel heel erg lekker mee werkt.
Ik heb naaldwerk toegepast door sommige vierkanten om te trekken met lijnen en in één hoek heb ik vrije vormen gezet.

Weekend impressions..

I made a small picture selection of some weekend moments..

The first one is a picture of one of the three cards I got from one of my dear friends. She send me three beautiful cards which made me very happy! So nice, so sweet... I'm so lucky to have her as my friend!!

On sundaymorning my parents brought my sister and brother in law to the airport, which is not so far from my house, and they spontaneously came visit me what I realy liked. In pyjama, with my second coffee of the day, the doorbell rang and there they were! So bizar (we live 1,5 hour drive away from each other)! Dad brought a lot of pie, mmmhhh... and my mother bought me some realy nice fabric. Also she gave me six balls of fuchsia wool for some more new hats! Thanks mam, I realy like it!

I'm still working on my hats and still loving it! Besides crochet I'm reading 'Eat, Pray, Love' from Elizabeth Gilbert. I love the book!! Realy a good recommandation...

Also, I'm reading 'The Artist Way' from Julia Cameron. (thanks C!!) It's a book about finding your creativity. In whatever... so writing, painting, acting it doesn't matter. You have to work trought a 12 week program and do al kind of assigments. Also you have to write 3 pages every morning when you wake up and have a date with yourself every week. I'm not working through the program in twelve week.. But I do write every morning and have the date with myself. As well as the other assigments, I do them too but not all in one week. I think I'll make my own plan here.

Anyway, this is realy a recommandation too!! For all you crafters and creative people but definatly also for the non-creative people.. You have to be open for it, do some work but the assignments are great. And every day your gonna get a step closer to your creativity.. That's also the vision of the book: everybody is creative, you just have to find the guts again to follow your own creativity, explore it, make it, show it and then be proud of it!!

Ik heb een selectie foto's van wat weekend momenten gemaakt.

De eerste is een foto van één van de drie kaarten die ik van een van mijn lieve vriendinnen heb gekregen. Kreeg ik zomaar 3 verschillende kaarten in de brievenbus. Zo leuk, zo lief.. gelukkig is ze mijn vriendin!! Ik bof maar!

Zondagochtend vroeg gingen mijn ouders, mijn zus en zwager naar Schiphol brengen en aangezien dat hier eigenlijk maar een half uurtje vandaan is, kwamen ze spontaan langs. In pyjama, net aan m'n tweede kop koffie, gaat de bel en zijn ze daar opeens! Zo gezellig! Papa had meer dan genoeg taart meegenomen.. en van mama kreeg ik een heel mooi stukje stof. Ook had ze 6 fuchsia bollen wol gekocht voor mijn mutsen. Bedankt mam, echt top, ben er weer super blij mee!

Ik ben nog steeds aan mijn mutsen aan het werken en vind het nog steeds helemaal leuk! Ik doe gelukkig ook nog weleens iets anders.. en ben oa het boek 'Eten, bidden, beminnen' van Elizabeth Gilbert aan het lezen. Wat een leuk boek zeg! Aboluut een aanrader..

Ook ben ik 'The Artist Way' van Julia Cameron aan het lezen. (bedankt C!!) Dat is een boek over het vinden van je creativiteit. In wat dan ook.... dus schrijven, schilderen, acteren dat maakt allemaal niet uit. Je werkt aan een 12 weken programma waarvoor je elke week een stuk leest en verschillende opdrachten uitvoert. Sowieso moet je elke dag, als je wakker wordt, 3 bladzijden schrijven en je moet elke week met jezelf op date(!!). Ik werk niet aan een 12 weken programma maar schrijf wel elke dag en heb ook elke week een date met mezelf. Ook doe ik alle andere opdrachten maar volgens mijn eigen plan en op mijn eigen tijd.

Maargoed, dit is ook absoluut een aanrader!! Voor alle creativelingen maar ook absoluut voor de niet-creativelingen. Je moet er wel voor openstaan en er wat voor doen maar het zijn hele leuke opdrachten en je komt er steeds een stapje mee, dichterbij je creativiteit. En dat is dan ook een beetje de visie van het boek: iedereen is creatief, je moet alleen het lef hebben om je eigen creativiteit (weer) te volgen, te ontdekken, te maken, te laten zien en er dan trots op zijn!!

And the birth of another hat.. You'll see it's not done yet. There are still loose threads on the back. This one I made with thick, warm, yellow wool. It's a real big warm, solid winterhat! I'm curious what you think about this one!!

Below is also a warm winterhat! Here I also used a thick wool. This one is purple blended with green, blue, fuchsia and a golden thread. It's a warm, wooly and firm (but soft) hat. I ordered some more of this yarn because I realy love this one.

En de geboorte van nog een muts... Zoals je ziet is ie nog niet af. Er zitten nog losse draden aan de achterkant. Deze heb ik gemaakt van dikke wol in een warme okergele kleur Het is een hele grove, warme en stevige wintermuts geworden. Heel grappig ook! Ik ben benieuwd wat jij van deze vind!

Die andere is ook een warme wintermuts. Ook bij deze heb ik een dikke wol gebruikt. Deze is paars gemeleerd met groen, blauw, fuchsia en een gouden draadje. Het is een hele warme, wollige en stevige (maar zachte) muts geworden. Ik heb van deze wol al wat meer bollen besteld want ik vind h'm geweldig maar dat het zal nog wel even duren voor ik die krijg..

In the meantime I'm doing a lot of crochet! I got new yarn and I'm going very well on my hats. I'm still very excited about them... and realy can't wait to put them in my store.. But before I do I'm going to renew my shop (and blog) a bit. I have to make better lines, some better pictures and stuff like that. I hope to work on it this weekend. As well as on my blog. Also I need to design labels with my name. Still don't have them! And I realy want labels on my hats, so there's some work too.. But I like it!


En de winnaar is... Drumroffel... Mirre van KissKus!! Gefeliciteerd!! De winnaar van mijn give away voor mijn 100ste bericht. Ik weet dat jij nu op vakantie bent maar ik krijg je adres wel als je terug bent en dan komt je cadeautje eraan! Ik heb wel al een beetje een idee van wat ik ga maken maar ik ga er vandaag ook nog eens goed over nadenken.. Het is leuk om nu te weten wie er gewonnen heeft waardoor ik het cadeautje wat persoonlijker kan maken.

In de tussentijd ben ik erg veel aan het haken! Ik heb nieuw garen en ik ga erg goed met mijn mutsen. Ik ben nog steeds erg blij met alle vooruitgang, de modellen en de kleuren... en ik kan bijna niet wachten om ze in de winkel te plaatsen.... Maar voor ik dat ga doen wil ik de winkel (en mijn blog) wat vernieuwen. Ik moet echt wat betere teksten schrijven, soms wat betere foto's en dat soort zaken. En dat geldt ook voor mijn blog. Ook moet ik echt naamlabels gaan ontwerpen en laten drukken. Die heb ik nog steeds niet! En die moeten echt op mijn mutsen komen te zitten dus er is nog veel werk te doen... Maar ik hou ervan!

From yarn to hat..

This morning I left you a post, telling I bought some new yarn for my hats. And I just finished one... It was a hard one to work on because I had to work on the pattern again. I made hats with yarn and needle 5 till 8 mm and this one was in 9. On every hat I use different yarn and this one is 100% wool and that also needs adjustments. I think I pulled everything out five times, today but finally the hat turned out like I want. An urban, warm purple hat with old pink ridges.

Vanmorgen vertelde ik al dat ik nieuw garen had gekocht voor mijn mutsen. En ik ben net klaar met eentje... Het was hard werken want ik moest weer het patroon aanpassen. Ik heb tot nu toe mutsen gemaakt met garen en naals 5 tot 8 mm en deze was in een 9 mm. Ook gebruik ik telkens andere garen en deze is 100% wol en daarvoor moest ik ook het een en ander aanpassen. Ik denk dat ik vandaag alles wel 5 keer heb uitgehaald maar uiteindelijk is het wel de muts geworden zoals ik hem wil. Een urban, warm paarse muts met oud-roze randjes.

The story of a crochet-hat-addict...

I'm totally into crocheting my hats!! I finished 5 off them already!! And I'm so proud off them because it's my own design and they are realy great. I think I'm gonna make a whole serie with two maybe three designs. I have two designs now: an urban and tomboy hat. You can see a preview of those a few posts back.

Last sunday I didn't have anymore yarn and, to bad, no store was open. Yesterday I took my bike, went to the store.. shit, closed on monday during summer (and realy it isn't summer here at the moment!). So finally this morning, on my bike, and yes!! New yarn for me and my hats!
I didn't bought to much because I did an order for yarn on the internet yesterday. I found this great offer on marktplaats (that's dutch tradingplace, a bit like ebay) and I'm expecting the yarn tomorrow.. So for now I can stop craving for my yarn..

In the mean time I'm thinking of putting the hats earlier in my shop. I always have that... Iff I have some new materials I wanna work with it immediatly, iff I have a gift for someone I wanna give it right away and iff I make something I wanna show it.. Well, what's wrong with a bit to much enthusiasm...

Ik ben compleet van het mutsen haken!! Ik heb er inmiddels al 5 af!! En ik ben zo gigantisch trots op mijn eigen ontworpen mutsen. Ze zijn echt geweldig! Ik denk dat ik een hele serie ga maken met 2 misschien 3 verschillende ontwerpen. Ik heb inmiddels 2 ontwerpen: een urban en een tomboy muts. Die kan je een aantal berichten terug zien.

Afgelopen zondag had ik niet genoeg garen meer maar helaas dan zijn de winkels dicht. Gister, op mijn fietsje, naar de winkel maar shit.. dicht op maandag gedurende de zomermaanden (en als het nou nog zomer was hier!!). Dus vanmorgen weer op mijn fiets naar de winkel en joehoe.. Nieuwe wol voor nieuwe mutsen!!
Ik heb niet al teveel gekocht want ik heb gister een flinke lading garen op marktplaats gekocht (samen met mijn mams!!) en die verwacht ik morgen te krijgen. Dus voor nu hoef ik niet meer als een junk achter garen aan..

In de tussentijd ben ik hard aan het bedenken om toch alles wat eerder in de winkel te zetten. Dat is altijd bij mij... Als ik nieuwe materialen heb gekocht, wil ik er meteen mee werken, als ik een cadeautje voor iemand heb dan wil ik 't meteen geven en als ik wat nieuws heb gemaakt dan wil ik 't eigenlijk meteen laten zien... Nou ja, wat is er mis met een beetje veel enthousiasme, denk ik dan maar..

Have to show you this one too..

I wanted to try to make my hat with 6 ply cotton yarn (so almost two sizes smaller hook). So I worked a bit on the pattern and made one with a mix blue/white cotton yarn. It turned out fabulous, iff I may say so!! It's a fresh one but it has also class and he fits great! And I know with my hats that iff I fit it everybody fits it. I never gave or sold a hat that didn't fit! But it doesn't matter now, I'm enjoying this one for now.. I'm realy happy with it!

It's much more work, I almost needed to make double as much stitches as on the wool wintercaps. And I made a lot of idges on it but that's because I liked it with this one, honestly..

I'm curious what you think about it and how you like the other ones I made earlier!

Oke, voor de mensen die een beetje klagen dat ik niet meer in het Nederlands schrijf.... Ach ja, de tijd gaat snel zal ik maar zeggen, voor je het weet ben je al oud... (knipoog)

Ik wilde mijn muts ook maken met een dunnere, katoenen garen (dus dan heb je bijna twee maten haaknaald minder). Dus ik heb mijn patroon wat aangepast en heb een muts gemaakt met een gemeleerde blauw/wit katoen garen. Ik vind h'm fantastisch geworden!! Hij is heel fris geworden maar tegelijk heeft ie heel veel klasse. Hij past echt heel lekker en als ik weet zeker dat als ie mij lekker zit dan past hij iedereen. Ik heb nog nooit een muts verkocht of cadeau gegeven die niet paste. Maargoed daar gaat het nou niet om.. Nu ben ik superblij!

Het is veel meer werk want ik heb sowieso al bijna twee keer zoveel steken nodig. En ik heb heel veel ribbels erop gemaakt maar dat is meer omdat ik dat erg goed vond staan bij deze..

Ik ben benieuwd wat je ervan vind en hoe je die andere vind, die ik eerder heb gemaakt!

The new fall/winter collection 08/09!! (but not for sale yet)

It all started with a crocheted hat.. Or something like that.. My conical cap for the winter was one off the first things I made. In the last months I already bougth some (winter) yarn, to make lots of hats, for the winter. Because of the real bad weather I felt an itch to work on the hats, so in the last couple of days I worked on my designs and already crocheted two hats.

I choose to have make one basic pattern and work with it in the proces. So every hat is going to be unique! But what I like most is that every hat is having it's own style. The grey one on top is 'urban'. It's a classy one, real stylish.. One you can wear on a cold winter beachwalk but it suits also perfectly on the suit of a business-woman.

While this brown one is more 'tomboy'. More tough! The effect with the light brown rows worked out great. A nice detail on this one..

So you'll have to wait because none of these are going in the shop now. But then again, who wants to buy a winter hat in summer!? In the fall I hope to have a bunch of my own hats in the shop!!

Kiekeboe..

"Kiekeboe"

Indeed, a lot of wondering yesterday but no choice made in doing something creative. Well, sometimes you have such a day. Doesn't mean I didn't do anything!! Off course I had a lot off blogs to read!! So nice to see what my blog-friends made in the last week.. The most gorgeous stuff has been made! Uploading a lot of new pictures, therefore I have a flickr account now. Joehoe!! Did a lot of reading, writing, working on my terrace.. and a bit of sleeping.. such a lovely day!

No creativity for today! I'm going to my friend this afternoon and in the evening we're gonna go to 'Sex and the City' the movie. Nice!! Didn't see a movie in the theatre for a long time (oh, and still don't have cable at home and still I'm pretty happy without it).

Too much tickles..

I don't know where to start... I'm restless, wanna do to much at the same time.. can't choose.. I have to much inspiration that I don't know where to start..

There's a lot of work I have to finish. There's my big front of a patchwork blanket.. I still have nine crocheted blocks for a cushion cover.. I have yarn, needles and a pattern book to learn how to knit socks.. I have yarn for a big crocheted patchwork blanket.. I have fabric and a pattern for a simple skirt... Started a application from a tree on fabric to make a small frame... Busy with kitchen sets including placemats, pot-holders and a oven mith...

But I also wanna start on some presents for friends and family... have an idea for a cool cuddle toy.. have to make some more happy bird keychains because I'm out of these.. and I feel an itch to do some writing or some photography..

I wonder what the day will do...

Pictures Buitenkunst!!

Back from my super holiday and immediately busy!! I had to turn in my papers for my assessment for graduation today, before twelve o'clock and it wasn't already done.. like always.. So I worked all day yesterday till 2 this night and this morning I started again at seven!! But.. I drove to Utrecht this morning and at 11:40 I turned everything in!! I'm so happy!
Now I have to wait on a email to know iff my paper (is a portfolio off almost 200 pages!!) is complete and satisfied the reqirerements, so the Comitee for Assessments give me the approval to do my assessment, in the week of 25 august. But for now, this step is done already!!

This week I will add some descriptions but realy, you have to be there to get the feeling, understand the pictures.. Holiday girls!! You can copy every picture you want. Hai You All!!

I'm just a few hours back from my holiday on Buitenkunst! I'm uploading my photos to my laptop to see them and I noticed this elusive feeling in my belly...

It's hard to describe the week, therefore it's difficult to find words. I had such a great time...doesn't describe the loading! This was so super... neither.. The sphere, the weather, the workshops, the people I met, the performences I saw.... It's realy amazing what people can make in a day, sometimes just in half a day on art, dance, theatre, music en play.

I'm still flabbergasted from all the performences I saw, small or big, groups made together in a day. Realy amazing! As I said, it's hard to describe.. Here's a impression.

This is a percussion/music performence on bikes. A group remade there bikes so the bike makes (drum) music during biking. And with the bikes as instrument they gave a perfect percussion concert!

I made this picture during the repetition of the workshop "Wagner in a skirt by man". All men in dresses and skirts, singing and performing a part of Wagner in skirt!! Realy great singing and a perfect 'theatre' performance! Nice to see in twillight with torches for some light. Can you imagine... In the middle of the woods with 400 people watching, everybody is still and quiet, listening to a nice opera by men in skirt...

On the visual art workshops we worked all day, and in the evening your work was presented in a exposition. People made the most beautifull frames in a day!! The art teacher was great! He pulled it out you.. Realy so nice to work on big carton boards with a lot of paint in the shadow, in the woods.




When it rained (we were so lucky to only have one afternoon and one morning rain!!) we all worked in big tents. Also very cosy!





Assignment above: Two faces. One with dark colors but bright expression and one with light colors and melanchollic expression. The frames were beautiful! Amazing people made this in just one day! And most haven't got experience with painting!


Under: Paint something from nature on the whole board. Then paint a detail from a object on it and then three geometric shapes.




And this one was "Between art and kitsch". Also some real great frames!

This was a workshop in moulding a "Travel or Journey". The group had to mould on a stick, so it became like totems and off course 3 dimensional. Some people made real artworks..

I love this picture! It's also another photo of the moulding. With the blue light of the sky behind it, it looks so real. Beautiful!

This one is from a theatre and music performance from the 'youth' (10 till 16 years old). A music group had studied music and performed this live while a theatre group made a show like 'Dancing on Ice'. The movements where like skating. So nice!

This is a dance performence where two people dance with each other with paint over their bodies on a sheet. Great performance!!
