Ik moet in opdracht een tweetal theedoeken met applicatie maken (zie eerder 'Theekopjesdoek') en heb vandaag even 'verder geborduurd' op een nieuwe applicatie. Ik heb een theepot patroon opgezocht, beetje aangepast en op een HEMA theedoek overgezet. Door grof en fijnnaald werk en verschillende kleuren is het een vrolijke, vintage theepot geworden die in de punt hangt die naar beneden valt. Ik maak de achterkant af door er een driehoek (de punt dus) af te zoomen met rood geruite katoen. Dat zal ik tegen die tijd nog wel laten zien.

Earlier I made a tea towel with some applications from teacups (zie my blog earlier under 'Theekopjesdoek'). I had a idea to done some embroidery instead off the fabric applications and found a pattern of a teapot. I suited it to a nice needlework design. I bought a tea towel in the store, transferred the pattern and with some fine and some big needlework, I made the teapot on to it. Through his shape and bright colours, it became a cheerfull, vintage teapot! I'm going to finish the back by seaming a triangel of red-wit chequered fabric to it. I'm going to show that iff it's done.
